LFB is committed to patients suffering from rare coagulation disorders at GTH Congress 2021.

LFB is committed in the management of patients suffering from rare coagulation disorders during the 65TH annual congress of GTH, Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis Research, from 22ndto 26 February, in Germany which will be held virtually for the first time.

 

This congress is the occasion for LFB to present for the first time its brand-new virtual booth. This innovative booth offers healthcare professionals the opportunity to exchange with an avatar who is present on the stand.

 

LFB is presenting 3 oral communication sessions that will be broadcast online on the GTH platform on February 23rd and 24th, with the interventions of Professors Jenny Goudemand and Cedric Hermans.

 

The 1st communication session presented on 23rd February, by Prof. Cedric Hermans, Head of Haemostasis and Thrombosis Unit Haemophilia Clinic, Division of Adult Haematology, St-Luc University Hospital, Brussels, Belgium, will present results from the PERSEPT-1 study on demand treatment of bleeding episodes in adults & adolescents patients with haemophilia A or B with inhibitors.

The 24th February, Prof. Jenny Goudemand, Emeritus Professor in Haematology, Reference Centre on Von Willebrand Disease at University Lille, France will present 2 oral communications.  She will present recently published data in the management of patients with von Willebrand disease in a real-life setting.  She will also address the challenges and advances in the clinical management of severe Von Willebrand Disease patients suffering from joint bleeds or gastrointestinal bleeding.
