LFB joins the World Hemophilia Day 2019, today April 17th.

On April 17, 2019, the 29th World Hemophilia Day, “JMH2019”, is organized by the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH). This year JMH2019 is dedicated to awareness raising, screening and treatment for people with rare coagulation disorders. The JMH2019 aims to make better known, especially to many people, what are these kind of rare pathologies of blood coagulation and how are these diseases diagnosed. Various awareness-raising actions are organized in countries over the world.

In France, these operations are carried out by the AFH (Association Française des Hémophiles), LFB’s long-standing partner, and its 24 regional delegations which develop these actions at regional level. On the occasion of the JMH2019, and for the second consecutive year, the AFH is mobilizing by joining the movement “Fil Rouge”. With the support of its regional delegations, the AFH organizes the evening of April 17, the red illumination of a maximum of historical monuments in France.
