14 June 2025 : International Blood donation Day

This is an opportunity to once again highlight the commitment of our employees.

This year, LFB is organising five blood collection at its industrial sites. Three collections have already taken place, enabling 188 of our employees and 33 new donors to donate their blood. These days help to support blood and plasma donations, which are crucial for the manufacture of our essential medicines for patients with serious and often rare diseases.

In 2024, 554 of our employees, including 92 new donors, took part in previous collections.

These collection campaigns, organised jointly with the EFS for several years during the teams’ working hours, share the same ambition as the bill passed on first reading in the National Assembly last week, allowing employees to donate blood, plasma or platelets during their working hours.
