International Day of Women and Girls in Science

To mark International Day for Women and Girls in Science, Céline, Nezha and Sonia, 3 Medical Editors, present their career paths and professions.

But why did they choose a career in science?
🎙️Céline: ‘In the future, I wanted to answer questions in areas where biology has a direct impact, such as health.

🎙️Nezha: ‘I chose the science pathway because it satisfies my natural curiosity and gives me the intellectual stimulation I need to be motivated every day.’

🎙️Sonia: ‘Understanding physiological mechanisms and contributing to medical advances have always inspired me. I also want to highlight the importance of scientific research and encourage others to get involved in this constantly evolving field.’
Congratulations to them on their careers and their stories, which we hope will inspire other women and girls to take up scientific careers.
