World Hemophilia Day : LFB’s employees are committed
The 31st edition of World Hemophilia Day (WHD2021) will be held on Saturday, April 17th. This day, organized by the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH), is an unmissable event that raises public awareness of rare bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia or Willebrand’s disease. This year’s theme, “adapting to change, sustaining care in a new world”, is in accordance with the WFH’s mission to improve and sustain care for rare inherited bleeding disorders. In order to treat these rare bleeding disorders, LFB has provided over the years 10 therapeutics options.

This year again, LFB reaffirms its commitment to patient associations such as WFH, EHC (European Hemophilia Consortium) and AFH (Association Française des Hémophiles) and will continue to support the development of awareness and prevention tools such as the web documentary on therapeutic education and Willebrand disease available at the bottom of this page, in French. LFB is also participating to the “Fil rouge” operation launched by AFH. The LFB employees dressed in red for this event are showing their support to patients with bleeding disorders.
